This year flew by. Literally. Vancouver, Dallas, New Orleans, Utah, D.C., NYC…and simply put was pretty fucking wonderful. Thank God. It is with a much different perspective than mine of last year that I conjure up the memories and deliver all I have learned. Don’t worry, it’s still slightly skewed.
Things I Learned from 2010
- Do not speak to girls living in Dallas, Texas. They will probably punch your friend in the face.
- Stoli Vanil on an empty stomach will multiply in quantity and take the form of puke.
- Do not “mess around” with a guy after he’s eaten spicy chicken wings.
- People might not change, but they can grow up.
- Nothing can surpass the joy of room service.
- Bourbon Street during the day is still scary.
- Nothing in life is random.
- There is no excuse for any adult to be a bad kisser.
- All a dislocated shoulder wants to do, is dislocate itself again.
- Lots of people will disappoint you; but the ones who pleasantly surprise you are worth the wait.
